Renee Rewi

Renee is the Manager of Kake Oranga Hāhi Katorika, Catholic Family Support Services, and FinCap Māori representative and Deputy Chairperson. She is co-president of the NZ Council of Christian Social Service and sits on Te Whaiti Nui a Toi Trust and Hamilton Combined Christian Foodbank Trust.

Renee has a Master of Laws degree and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and Justice of Peace. She has over 30 years' experience in Treaty, Māori and community issues, and was heavily involved in the work of her Iwi, Ngati Manawa, and Ngati Whare as a Trustee and negotiator to negotiate a settlement of their respective Treaty claims as part of the Central North Island negotiations.
