Anika Forsman
Anika is Director of Communications and Engagement at the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC), where she leads strategic communications, marketing, member engagement, advocacy and industry partnerships to support a more sustainable built environment.
While her professional focus has shifted from financial capability, Anika remains a strong advocate for financial wellbeing and resilience. Previously as Director of Stakeholder and Communications at Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission, Anika led New Zealand's National Strategy for Financial Capability and continues to champion the importance of helping New Zealanders build the knowledge, confidence and resources needed to thrive.
With a background is in journalism, tourism and corporate communications, major events and public affairs, Anika brings a collaborative, outcomes-focused approach to engagement, communications and governance.
