Ruth has led the FinCap team since January 2021 and commutes from a small beach town outside of New Plymouth, to Te Whanganui-a-Tara each week.

She is an experienced leader and senior executive in the not-for-profit and public sectors, in health and social services organisations, holding to a personal mission of every person gaining knowledge and agency to live their best lives.

Prior to working for FinCap, Ruth was Deputy Chief Executive at Tui Ora, a large iwi-owned health and social services provider based in Taranaki.

She relaxes with family, and lots of cooking efforts inspired by MasterChef.
