FinCap's mission revolves around fostering financial well-being for individuals, families, and communities throughout Aotearoa, aiming to alleviate hardship and promote systemic change.

As an organisation dedicated to providing and advocating for free financial mentoring services, FinCap plays a pivotal role in supporting local communities.

In its second year of partnership with the New Zealand Bankers’ Association (NZBA), FinCap has spearheaded various initiatives geared towards advancing its vision.

Notably, the continuation of Communities of Practice (CoPs) has seen active engagement from 356 financial mentors across 25 CoPs, demonstrating the robust grassroots support for FinCap's endeavors.

Additionally, the enhancement of Te Papa Hou, an online portal and knowledgebase for financial mentors, underscores FinCap's commitment to equipping mentors with the latest resources and information crucial for their invaluable work.
